Kenya is Dying

kenya is dying but people need change
hunger for change
I have a certain fear. The thing that comes so vividly and changes almost everything around me. My thinking, my behavior, my understanding, and my reasoning. This fear is always triggered by a memory that lived a long time back, but still fresh behind my skull.

When I talk about this fear, I remember a time back when Kenya was no longer a country I used to know. The time when smock marked the better part of the day. Crying marked the livelihood of the majority and lack of peace made it seem like the people were no longer in control of their anger and way of life. The time when no one could trust anyone. Politics was the main theme and a sign of that darkest days in the history of Kenya since independence. I guess the nation was almost on its knees before salvation time.

The fear I am talking about can't be eradicated from my mind. In our current Kenya, we have so many triggers that remind me of those dark hours. Violence and running battles are things I just can't avoid to hear or see in real life. I may pretend to be immune to all that happens but still, my mind is not accustomed to ditching the past. I do find myself going back. Sinking so low into the abyss of thoughts and sadness. Why can't we just play it nice, play cool and act normal?

Our problem is not about who we are, but what we love to do is what accounts for our daily actions. We may be trying to make our politics clean but are we doing it through best channels for an effective outcome? I guess you know the answer. Personally, I hate evil and I shun it to the best of my ability.

I love it when no one is crying! It is hard to live in a country where crying has been normalized. The land where angry people are hungry for change. The country where the political arena is filled up with crooks who have everything to hide from the public. In such kind of land, how do the likes of you and me win a fair lady?

This only hints that we are in for a bitter and worst battle like never before. Imagine a country where laws are drafted just to please a few mouths. Imagine a nation whose Judicial system is controlled by deep pockets of cash and who private institutions are money minting zones. Damn! The corruption beest that feed on our innocence.

Well, this is Kenya. The nation known for burying its evil in the shallow craves of doom while leaving the air to be polluted with the rotting stench.

Now you understand my fear. You can feel it too and if you do not, then I guess you do not see the country in mammalian point of view. My point is, Kenya is dying!

History is Done! Why Kenyans Have To Worry About Peaceful Future

why kenyans have to worry about peaceful future
We can't fall back to history, we need peace n Kenya now!
The world around us is nothing if we do not have a good deal with it. We are business people. We value nothing but good profit from our investment.

The world is a business partner who does not whine easily unless the deal is fraudulently obvious! The best deal so far is Peace!💓💓💓

In a country like ours, Kenya, we have experienced both effects of a good environment for all and the worst days in our history. We know better and now we trade wisely, putting in mind the repercussions of our deals.

Having tested peace instability in history, there is nothing we wish to see again. History of Kenya is not a good channel one can enjoy revisiting time by time, but it is a drift that we do not want to fall in again. And now that the elections are just around the corner, Kenyans have enough reasons to remain peaceful to one another and believe in patriotism.

Politics is the worst enemy of peace in Kenya. The nation experiences an upheaval of ethnic emotions during elections time, and this has resulted into unwanted hatred and enmity among the people of Kenya.

Without politics, Kenyans are peaceful people. They mingle with each other and mostly stay together as brothers and sisters.

Why Play Dirty Politics

With a beautiful environment that the world has given us, Kenyan politicians have everything to lose. However, they know that majority of us do not use their brains to the maximum level intended to discern good from evil.

So, with simple oratory and some little persuasion, we are bundled into ‘ignorance’ and sold as tribal bundles.

In some cases, we know that we are being used by our lords but we do not care much about that because we feel secure when our backyard is strong. This is the most dangerous weakness that Kenyans should avoid, whatever the cost.

The business deal with our world is deteriorating because of a few individuals who refuse to see the reality. The fact that Kenya has lost so much in terms of politics leaves us in a very tight corner.

Final Say!👄

We have a choice to move ahead with peace or forever shun the reality into oblivion. At the end, our next generation will be there to judge us, basing on how Kenya will be in the near future.

We can’t let the business deal with the world cease because we have all we need to make Kenya stand strong and shine like a good example in Africa.

Raila Odinga Finally Becoming Invisible In Kenyan Politics?

Raila Odinga Finally Becoming Invisible In Kenyan Politics?
Hon. Raila Odinga And Governor Joho at a political function...
What is Raila Odinga next move? This has been a grand question in Jubilee Party’s headquarters for a while, but still, no clue as the former prime minister steals political shows in the country.

Use of insults by the Jubilee administration to tarnish his name has been like trying to drown a fish in fresh water. The more they struggle to point a finger at Raila Odinga and his NASA team, the more they hit a nail on their own political coffin.

In recent opinion polls, Raila is leading the President Uhuru Kenyatta by an increasing margin. This means Jubilee’s campaign theme is not working against the NASA umbrella of parties.

Raila’s Political Goals to the Projected Victory

By now, it is almost clear who will emerge the winner on August 8th, general elections in Kenya. However, we should not underestimate the power of ‘unknowns’ which might influence the final results.

For this reason, Raila Odinga has been busy breaking the two factors that might deny him victory come 8/8.

--Cutting The President's Influence in IEBC:

IEBC which should be Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission has been secretly following orders from the president of Kenya.

According to the laws of Kenya, the electoral commission should be an unbiased referee, who should not exchange favors with the players.

Well, you understand deal triangle between The president, IEBC commissioners, and the ballot paper printing firm. This confirms an existing influence that the state house has in a what should be a nonpartisan electoral commission.

Anyway, I guess by now that unwanted relationship is done!

--Sealing The Loophole That Denied Him Victory in 2013:

In 2013, the victory for President Kenyatta was sealed by cyber criminals who tampered with IEBC servers; cooked results and made sure there was no run-off election.

Anyway, this will not happen this year because the court order to finalize Presidential results at the constituency level has made it tougher for anyone to attempt it.

Now you see, only the unlikely factors might influence the reality; come August 8 general elections. We only hope for free and fair elections.

Kenya Was Sold to China, But We Can Reclaim Our Country Through Agriculture

Kenyans should embrace agriculture
Agriculture and crop farming in Kenya
If my guess is right, Kenya was sold to a known 'private developer' who is just buying time before he or she announce the way forward. We can't allow that to happen.

Unlike Migingo Island in Lake Victoria, no one has come out to claim this land yet. That is a good because the more she remains silent, the higher the chances of reclaiming our country.

At first, they lied to us that the West was a bad cunning friend who did well in the past but it was time to ditch them for a cool lass in the East, China being the new cutie in town.

So, she came and took over high profile government projects in the country. She built her name across our faces and Kenya unwittingly landed on her lap. Kenya dined with her. She was one nice jealous b**ch that made sure the West is no longer her worries. Then she blew it!

How?

Death of tourism sector

poaching in kenya
elephants poached for their tusks
Rampant killing of Elephants and Rhinos in the country marked the beginning of Kenya’s dying tourism industry.

The ban on buying and selling of Rhino horns and Elephants tusks did a small part, but China’s reluctance in prohibiting animal products on their streets made it almost impossible to deal with poachers.

As a matter of a good guess, someone was behind these heinous killings and was funding criminals trading in animal trophies. Well, we cannot prove it!

Now, Kenya is just a name on an African map but only the wise would tell that it has been placed under receivership by the Chinese economic colonialist.

By now, Kenya's economy is sitting squarely on Chinese billions. That is what a bad friend does when he wants you as his servant forever. You owe him and there is nothing you can do about it!

However, we have a way out. And even the Chinese government is worried about this. And that is embracing Agriculture in this country.

Kenya’s number one export product was tourism, but we have to switch to another product, Agriculture. Now, neglected but it is worth a shot!

What to do,

--We have to stop borrowing money from China to fund ongoing or projected-to-begin projects.

--We don't need to depend on a single outsource channel for development projects.

--We need to trust our own people, qualified individuals and give them a chance to grow from there.

--Take Agriculture very seriously in Kenya because this is the only and easy way to fund our development projects.

--Government offices should be corruption-free zones to avoid leakage of tax payers money.

--The citizens should be sensitized about farming be encouraged not to go for employment opportunities as the first option.

--Kenya government has to utilize its waters to the maximum and irrigate dry areas for Agricultural null.

--The banking sector should take this advantage and come up with loans for people interested in starting farming businesses.

 The list goes on!

How to reclaim Kenya,

The only way Kenya can reclaim itself from China is by proving to be more independent and willing to move away from borrowing.

Taming hunger in the country is the most important factor that may facilitate the process give hope to the people of Kenya.

Public and private sectors should work hand in hand to end corruption menace.

And yes! Clean politics is the key to achieving all these.

Why Kenyans Should Focus Their Energy On Kenya, Not Africa as Whole..

Politics dividing Kenyans. Uhuru Kenyatta and Raila Odinga
Think of a situation where you are walking in the light but only to realize later that whatever you thought was light was just a mirage of the reality.

Kenyans are funny! Not that a Kenyan would make you laugh your face down, but because they do not really realize they are funny at all. They pity the other African countries for running the crooked system of governance, yet they are in it so deep that they have nowhere to run. Dead end!

Kenyans are great guys at looking and seeing beyond what other African nationals can see. Imagine pointing a finger in bad leadership in a country marked X while ignoring the fact that the citizens of that particular nation are very happy. It is like trying to poke a finger in the eye of a person in a video, just because you have a touch screen device--- It cannot work that way.

In Kenya, we have our own problems in the country, why go around causing trouble?

Let us have a look at these maybes.

·         Maybe, we lack unity among ourselves making it easier to invest our energies somewhere else.

·         Maybe, we have a problem with our ‘Know It All attitude.

·         Maybe, we fear internal attacks but since we can come together for African charity work, we find it fun.

·         Maybe we are losers pretending to be the eye and ear of Africa while sitting on our own time bomb.

·         Maybe, we have that desire to give assistance but we have not dealt with our mess first.

·         Maybe, we are cowards in matters affecting us, a reason we hunt for the rot elsewhere.

·         Or maybe, we feel so noble in standing for our African people… So sad that no one really cares.

Why we need ‘Us’ to work together for the common cause.

We have been fighting for change in wrong places for some time, and we have shown our courage and unity when we hardly needed any. Great! This is a first, and I think the best chance to build a firm unity that will be our strength in future.

If we put our energies together for one particular change, we have a good chance to emerge winners.

The fear of unity is our worst enemy. It gives our enemy a channel of exploitation. It drains our nobility and makes us all novices. Sad that the enemy wants us divided…

Think of a lion facing wildebeests… he may attack the whole lot, but only targets one that secludes itself from the crowd.

Now face our situation and see the reality. Does our politics benefit us in any way?

I guess minority would say, ’We got our man in the State House and that is all we need.’

That is bad mentality that was imprinted in the minds of cool Kenyans.

You know what? The will of many politicians is to make sure ethnicity is subscribed by the majority of people in Kenya.  In fact, this single issue has crippled our land and everything Kenyans should be proud of.

We walk tall empty handed, we work for long hours on our empty stomachs, we elect idiots who have nothing to offer other than peanuts during the campaign period and who cares about us? No one! Not even ‘your man in the State House.’

Why we can be what they fear the most

We have reasons to call ourselves by our noble name, Kenyans.

We have a reason to choose the best among the rotten system, beyond ethnic lines.

We have the will to change the face of Africa, but we should start at home first.

We have time to rectify our mistakes.

We have power in our numbers and we don’t need them to tell us what to do.

This is what change should be… not the way it is now!

Kenyans, Understanding Our Main Culture And Politics

Kenyans celebrating 50 years since independence
There are so many fake smiles in Kenya. Why? I guess so many of us are not genuine anymore. We have fear that a good smile is essential instrument of trouble, but a false one is a like a drum of honey that leads to cool harvest.

Who is a Kenyan?

First, we have to go back time in history. The second president of Kenya, the retired president D.T. arap Moi always had a say about this.. 'Kenyans are people who love peace and development.' A perfect description that summarizes everything about us.

Lets break it further,

A Kenyan is a peace loving person. This means he or she is ready to shun every kind of evil that might derail potential peace in a certain environment.

Our most important culture is peace and coexistence. Although we are from different ethnic social backgrounds, we uphold peace and speak a language that brings us close, forming one big community. We are wise enough to see that our differences are our main strength.

While we may be affiliated to different political parties, nothing is bigger than our nation, Kenya. Our culture speaks volume how politics is just like wind that blows in summer and dies in winter. This means, we never part ways!

Oops!

Why is it that we Kenyans have failed terribly in terms of culture and politics? Oops! Some of you  do not understand the importance of combining the aspects for better tomorrow. It hurts to see the lost sheep straying into wolves' park without having an inkling of the outcome.

This brings us to the question, should we wait to be reminded of what we already know about ourselves or be directed by the invisible hand to do things beyond our accord?
I guess the foolish lot waits for such a reminder but agile minded people have their brains to lead them better. We only see a chance and go for it...we do not wait, we just do it!

DP Ruto Worried As Mt. Kenya Voting Bloc Seems Ready to Fly Away in 2022

Peter Kenneth to vie for Nairobi Gubernatorial seat on Jubilee party ticket. Is he a threat to DP Ruto's
Presidential bid in 2022? (pic: peterkenneth website)
It comes a time when desperation forces a human being to act like a fool. This comes in when everything that seemed to be in place disarranges itself into chaotic ends.

Politics in Kenya has been marred with betrayal and mending of ties. It is not a wonder how this is being weighed with acute concerns. Others political elites giving warnings that Uhuru's ethnic group has to repay Rift Valley votes.

In Kenyan politics, especially the rift valley politics, everything was great until recently that all the plans stuck on the pendulum. The Peter Kenneth factor in Jubilee politics is a killer for DP Ruto's ambitious 2022 presidential dreams in  Kenya.

Peter Kenneth comes in Jubilee politics as a clean man with full potential to lead Nairobi County into greater heights. His Presidential bid in 2013 gives him an upper hand in Nairobi gubernatorial race. However, Peter Kenneth is only threatened by the current Nairobi Senator, Mike Sonko, who is also determined to vie for Nairobi Governorship on Jubilee party ticket.

Rumors has it Mt. Kenya region is grooming P. Kenneth for 2022 presidential elections. This region is known for supporting their own in politics and it only remains a miracle if they would support DP William Ruto in 2022--- according to Jubilee Party MOU.

Early, there were speculations that the deal between him and the current president of Kenya, H.E Uhuru Kenyatta will not hold. The TNA governor once openly said his region will not honor the deal. The URP side experienced some wrangles about this but the president came out and calmed the issue.

The looming standoff between the Rift Valley and Mt.Kenya region will definitely affect President Uhuru's reelection bid that is just around the corner. The fear of betrayal is enough to make things cold in the Jubilee campaigns. If this happens, then it will be the big blow to the president and his deputy--- and their MOU might not hold any longer.

Insecurity in Kerio Valley Force Residents to Flee

'

Freedom is never free.' Ask me who said this and I would tell you blatantly that 'I don't know.' The most important things come free and it does not really matter who provides them. Anyway, let's talk about the 'freedom' that is lacking in Kerio Valley in Kenya.

It has been reported that Kenyans living in the Kerio Valley have been forced to flee following ethnic clashes being experienced in the land.

Rift Valley bandits shamelessly roaming the area (pic: twitter)
The Pokot and Marakwet communities have been engaging each other in banditry raids, that has turned into freedom mayhem in the rift valley region of Kenya.

Kenyans have been expressing their concerns over the social media, Twitter in particular, about the level of insecurity in Kerio Valley. The most disheartening fact is that bandits have taken control of an entire region. The law enforcement agents are nowhere to be seen and the killers have nothing to hide--- the innocent defenseless citizens are the one suffering.

Kenya's most outspoken deputy president,William Ruto, who also hail from the affected region is mum on this. The President of Kenya, H.E Uhuru Kenyatta, has also remained silent on this issue... or maybe, he is working closely with national security body on the best method to end the menace.

Of course, this has forced the political leaders to have a say about Kenya's security, giving negative views about how the head of state handles threats to national peace and freedom to live.

The two pastoral communities' rivalry over land and pasture for their domestic animals goes back in history. However, most people link this to politics in Rift Valley. It has been confirmed that such social-political unrest only happens when the country is heading to the general elections. The country is almost there; August 2017.

Compromised freedom in Kerio Valley confirms that freedom is not free... sometimes it means doing whatever possible to attain it. An escapist government of people by the people has turned people down. Children and women forced to flee, just to feel a sense of peace and freedom. So sad!

Why Luhya Community Needs UNITY For Brighter Political Future

Luhyaland wants to be counted as one,
but it is are not willing to unite as on (twitter pics)
The moment you set your foot for a certain goal,be ready to do the necessary if you really wanna reach a moment of jubilation and happiness. There is no short cut, unless you have a killer weapon awaiting for an appropriate moment to strike home. Politics also revolves under goals and ambitions. Oops! There are those waiting for 'XXX Tosha' magic that was around for some time until the person in charge chose not to entertain this nonsense any longer. This only hints that whoever is up for the challenge should use his or her own ways, means and necessities to make the dream come true. Nothing more, nothing less!

Now what for Western Kenya politics?

This is rather an ugly question that no Luhyaland leader wants to face in reality. We already know that they only wish they could make things less complicated but the more they wait for a mysterious savior, the more the damage is happening and the more the distance between them.

Those In The Political Tunnel..

By now, a good number of Western Kenya leaders are allied to the ruling government under President Uhuru Kenyatta. These leaders believe that they are at the right channel that will someday sell their asses to the countrywide lot. They see the bright spot at the end of the tunnel and fall for it without thinking how much they should struggle in order to reach the end of that tunnel. To them, eating and making merry on food provided in the tunnel is much better than striving to get out and make their own meals. In this regard, they are the lost sheep but they are happy because the wolf is still pretending to be just like them…

On the other hand, we have the lost lot who are dining in the opposition. Some of these Mulembe leaders are only surviving outside the government because of laws and twisted circumstances. They wish they could jump the ship but they fear the word ‘bloody-traitors.’ Musalia Mudavadi knows better, and I guess he is careful enough, now that he learnt the hard way in UhuHuto saga. The man like the Bukusu political Kingpin and Senator of Bungoma, Moses Wetangula is like a lost sheep. He can’t sit quiet and do his calculations much better. What he has forgotten is the fact that FORD-K is no longer a national party but just another lost political scam that should coalesce with others just to make a noticeable impact in Kenyan politics.

Here is the bitter reality!

For many years, Arap Moi, the former president of Kenya divided Luhya community because of the threat it was posing on his government. He knew that unity of Mulembe sub-tribes could have moved masses and threaten his tenor in office during multi-party era. This is why he chose to work with the channel of Luhyas and leave others alone for years. From then the Luhya community has been struggling to speak on one language and erase the past, just to move on as one. Other leaders are doing exactly the same to make sure this disunity stays put. And our leaders are dancing to this tune just like history dictates.

When are they gonna wake up?

Luhya nation needs to set goals, work with other communities as one and see how the future will unfold. We need to seal off short valleys and create an atmosphere that will land this great land into the promised land. Unity is the key to our future.

Western Kenya Electorate and Politicians and Can't See This Either...

Unless the Luhya people learns to hang out with the right people under one roof, they will never know when to rise...
"When the mighty beast is strong enough but it does not know how powerful it is, then it is great for the agile minded fellows to use its power to the maximum before it realizes what has been happening for sometime." This goes well with the mighty political wave in Western Kenya. Why are the two rival politicians luring the Western Kenya politicians to join the forces with them? Why do some other politicians allied to the ruling Party so interested in making sure that one or two politicians from Western Kenya vies for Presidency come 2017?

The answers for the above questions are easy! We only need to see the reality as it unfolds out into the freaking reality. For sure there is too much that happens in the political arena than just what meets our eyes. For example, the Wetangula saga in the Coalition Of Reform and Democracy (CORD) is not gonna end soon because he is a kind of guy who likes where the delicious soup is hot! We all know where the good broth is being cooked and as a hungry Mulembe guy, he is slowly going to take a bite anytime soon. Another issue!

Why did the wise man decide to leave?

When we talk of a wise guy in Kenyan Politics, then we are possibly referring to Ababu Namwamba, a former secretary general of Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) but now a leader of Labour Party of Kenya. The guy was possibly the light of the dimming Luhya community's unity and his smooth way of handling politics made him the most influential person in Kenyan politics. The recent split from ODM showed that he too is not a cool guy but another hungry guy looking for an easy catch. The deputy president hinted that he was the main reason why Ababu chose to move away from Raila's corner.

The Tag of War in Luhya Nation

The rise of western Kenya politics is a direct threat to Jubilee Party administration. The real change factors that plays within Kenya rests firmly in Western Kenya. The west which is also the second populous region has attracted the ruling government and the opposition, lead by Raila Odinga and his CORD allies. The moment the unity of western Kenya is realized, that is when Kenya will decide where to go from the current confusion state.

The Raila team is determined to sell their agent in Western Kenya because it is the only chance for him to ascend into power come august general election next year. However, he has a challenge that only needs constant prayers that Uhuru's men and their bulgy pockets are deemed liars and unworthy to go for a second shot!

By now, the beast is still sleepy and weak because of unworthy gains. The moment it will rise and be called by its proper name, Kenyan politics will change forever. Until then, let Raila Odinga eat the ripe fruit... let Uhuru Kenyatta cut off yields from healthy branches just to make sure the beast is not counted as whole (united), as we wait for a new day to come.

Should We Trust Either Raila or Kenyatta?

Raila and Uhuru, Are They The Best Kenya Can Ever Get?
The products of a failed system is pain, debts, corruption, silencing those who are nosy, defending corruption, and hiding in the vacuum of ‘don’t care’ mentality when everything is tumbling down on people’s shoulders. Kenyans have everything to lose here, but because of tribalism and foolishness some people still think that the Jubilee government is the shield and refuge for their tribes and wealth.

Raila’s way of handling the IEBC issue is not good. He is like a goon eyeing for a bigger trophy but his effort is being let down by a barrier so huge for him to jump across.

The looser here is no one but a common Kenyan. If the system is stealing from us, we have means of solving the issue with the power of the majority. Sometimes we need to be blind in order to see clearly. Kenyatta’s team is Bad; Raila’s team is Worse… We are doomed to think that these are the only leaders we can rely on when it comes to Kenya’s Governance.

A good leader is not seen by how he can manage the masses from his tribal inclination… but is seen by how he connects with all tribes and ethnic grouping of all Kenyans.

Now look at President Kenyatta;

1.       Without his homeland votes he has nothing but void… The reason why this is so is because he lacks leadership skills. The language should not be the measure of influence but a way of making people believe that they have someone to rely to in matters related to governance.

2.       Without Ruto’s votes, Jubilees as whole loses its ability to call itself a government of Kenya. Why, Jubilee Alliance is made up of two tribes, leaving behind about 40 other in a state of either in or out of the government. Fail!

Let’s go to Raila’s camp;

the three principals making CORD coalition is an alignment of tribal leaders coming together for the common goal. These leaders have no means of calling for a united Kenya because none of them can make it alone into power without the other two. The issue of coalition political parties is where the thickest tribalism lies. In light words, CORD is a breed of tribalism… just like Jubilee Alliance Party.

Should we trust either Raila or Kenyatta?

Kenyan Politics is A good Game Of Wits

The current Kenyan politics runs deep in the hearts of all voters. It creates an atmosphere that only liberates the minds of all Kenyans to see the reality and make a right decision come 2017. But what people are not aware of is how politics can change the country for better.

As the government struggles to keep up with promises made to the people of Kenya, the more it enchains itself to the big doubt ---if it will end up delivering just a small piece and wait for another term. This is gonna be hard because the opposition is there watching and faulting every wrong move made by the government.

The most interesting part is that, Kenyans too are already armed with voters cards but they are using the social media to have their say. As the going gets tough for the leaders of Kenya, the higher the chances of division amongst Kenyans. Damn! This is the sad part of of Kenyan politics.

It is always the game of wits... the loosers walk as politicians carry the day!

Luhya Girl Explores Kenyan Man

 That Luhya
girl was fine in those prime days. Her calves identified her in a group
of girls. She stood firm with a smile that could melt a man’s heart.

Respect was something she never dared to ignore. In fact, this was
back up for her cool attitude and always had the final say in her
lifestyle.

Years down the life, she never changed her behaviors. Maybe it was
her way of maintaining the culture that ran so deep in her veins, or
maybe she was just that naïve to change in time and era.

Circumcision, Mheshimiwa Just Can't Get It!

Real men see the 'cut' as a simple process

Fine one can quote the biblical scripture as a way of hitting the target with no fear of being prosecuted for hate speech, but one thing comes out loud; he do not understand the meaning of circumcision and why males undergo the cut in the African society.

Of course, one may like talking about as if it is one thing that makes the difference in life. However, mental ability to adapt to the true status as a circumcised man is lacking.

In Bukusu land, the tribe that undergoes one of the tedious circumcision processes, they value this cut and respect it that they do not even like talking about it. This shows that,

a) One is mentally mature

b) Understands the society well and ready to mingle with likeminded people

c) One respects people and the society as whole

d) Attained the age of real men

In Kenya, we have different tribes that circumcise their male child for different reasons. But when I see a 'mheshimiwa' using this simple cut as a way of insulting a certain tribe, I can' help but guess his mind speaks louder than his simple words.

Why was he circumcised? That is if he is truly a circumcised man

On his recent remarks, I was forced relate this to what I understand best. You may find uncircumcised Bukusu boys talking about such like shit in public because their age and mental immaturity allows them to.

Therefore, the only reason why mheshimiwa is up in arms fighting a certain ethnic group is because his little idea about circumcision allows him to.

Maybe his anger blinds his manliness and turns him into a little boy, or maybe his cut was the most ‘painful operation’ making him think, oops! That other tribe cannot with stand that!

In what I think, this ‘honorable’ is one of a few individuals who are forced to undergo the process because of fear, so when done with it, they become boastful about that simple male mark.

I laugh when I see a boy in a man’s body; of course, he is not worth it. Moreover, I guess this so called elected ‘Honorable’ could have run away if he was to face a Bukusu knife into his adulthood.

The guy is a newbie in this ‘circumcision thing’. Real men see it as a simple passage into adulthood.

Have your say!
