Teachers From Hell Brutalize a High School Student In Tanzania, East Africa

Who is gonna save Kids in this school?

This is rather a rough question for parents who hand over their children to the teachers hoping for better tomorrow but forget to follow up to see how they (children and teachers) are working together towards the dreams for your child. Why say these?

A Tanzanian school, Mbeya Secondary School, is on spotlight after a short video that is already going viral online showing four male teachers beating up a student for an unknown reason. The two angry teachers are seen pummeling the student, kicking him and even shoving him where he fell landed on his back writhing in pain.

A female teacher is heard pleading with the four teachers to leave the boy alone but all was falling on deaf ears. It was clear that the teachers were not administering discipline but were ready to cause harm and even death only if time could have allowed it. The video shows the kind of brutality that the current generation has to ditch for better future of humanity.

Should parents have a say when a student has done something wrong?

Well, I guess there is no parent who would allow his or her child to undergo what the student in the video was experiencing. The law should take cause if normal disciplinary measures proves futile and there are many other ways to administer discipline to a rogue student but corporal punishment should not be the only way and the easy way.

Some parents allow too much or go quiet when they realize that their children are being targeted by rogue teachers while at school. In most cases parents allow ‘don’t care mentality’ to lead the way--- giving a deaf ear to reality---, acting as if ‘ school life is just how it is’ without asking questions or even letting the higher authority know what goes on at school. Such parents let criminal minded teachers walk away with such crimes and this leads to repetition of the same.

Now the wheel of change!

Even though the beating happened in Tanzania, Kenyans on Twitter are pushing for the arrest of the four male teachers and justice for the boy who underwent that ordeal. Hopefully, the Tanzanian authority will act on this and apprehend the teachers from hell.

We should not allow inhumane activities in our school. It is so sad that people sometimes give a blind eye to such criminals activities.

When do love become replaced by so much hate?

Anger and brutality
For quite sometime now, news of a lover killing his or her love or a husband killing a wife and vice versa has become part of us in the society with these heinous acts continue to rise at a very alarming rate. The most recent incident is that of a fresh graduate being brutally murdered by her boyfriend with claims that she had threatened to dump him.

This is just one of the many incidents that our news people have been reporting yet even as shocking as they may be,we still tend forget and move on.The sad part is most of these incidents involve our young people especially the college material whom the society brands as grown-ups who know what is right and wrong and after all are aware what they are doing. But my take on this is,does going to the university or even a college mean that  you are on your own as parents now think you are of age.

For two young young people to have a close relationship that blossoms into love, then its obvious they know this is part of life that will take them places. Then the question is why do most young lovers think that if they disagree to the extent of parting ways that death is the only solution? They need to know being in a romantic relationships exposes them to open fields of quarrels or fights but by the end of it all,how they go about tackling the problems at hand matters a lot.

The young people need to know that if you break up with your love, you ought to be positive about it for you to be ready to move on.A broken relationship is still part of life and who knows may be this relationship was after-all a hindrance to better things in store for you.

So I think such sad  incidents should not slip from our minds so fast and as parents and the lecturers for our young people in colleges or universities,we have a role to play.By this I mean the young people need to have counselling sessions in the learning institutions and this is where parents come in due to financing such sessions. After all young people need guidance in most aspects of life.
