Explore The Possibilities In life, Never Shy Away From Challenges

Explore the possibilities in Life
When we talk about life, what comes to your mind? I don't know about you but personally, I would remember sipping a mouthful of coffee when writing this. I would think of a safari to the mountainous region after this--- just to feel free and relax my mind, then I would remember that life does not expect us to shy away from problems but to face them head on!
What to do then?
Let's face it, if we shy away from the bully then we should expect more to come. The only way to repel the threat to our peace is to face it.  Good or rather great things happen when we know what we want and when we have to do something for better future. We all face challenges in life, right? However, dealing with whatever that comes in your life is worth your effort than postponing it...
Now literature of life is simple, those who endure through challenges ends up winning! Loser, escape through the mess but eventually, there will be no way out.

Explore the possibilities in life. Note sown what to face and what to come later. Use the little you have to outdo challenges, and for usre you will emerge victorious.

Have your say!

Prolific Paid Survey Site, Everything You Want To Know

prolific.ac
prolific site homepage
Do you work online and would like to get a new stream of easy cash? If your answer is 'Yes!' Then you are on the right track to discovering an easy way to earn some cash while you are busy doing other stuff on the internet.
Here, what you need is a few minutes off from your tight schedule. The tasks are usually random and take only a few minutes to get completed. What is mostly needed is to refresh the window randomly.
The easy money site is Prolific.ac, a credible survey site that is run by Oxford University, England. Check them on Twitter. And here is me talking about Prolific.ac on Twitter

Why Prolific?
The most amazing feature of Prolific survey site is their low payout threshold. They pay in UK Pounds (‎£), and one only need ‎£5 to hit the cashout box. Amazingly, pending time for each cashout is 5 days of less.
It happens that only one survey can hit the cashout threshold. No joke! However, we have other short surveys that last less that 5 minutes but the pay is awesome than from other survey sites known to exist.
How to cashout
Well, one can easily send the accumulated amount of money to a Verified PayPal account or give them away to charity.
Who can register in Prolific.ac
I guess most of you might be wondering if this survey site accepts international users. Well, the answer is yes. Prolific does not discriminate against continental differences. They accept everyone, nonetheless, the surveys vary as per targeted location. So, don't be amazed to see active surveys posted but when you log in they all disappear.
How to work on Prolific.ac site?
First, you have to fill out the Prescreening information located under Dashboard tab.  Your eligibility to work on a certain survey is determined by the info in Prescreening. So make sure you have done something in this tab.
Then go ahead and do a free sample task that will guide you on how to work on future surveys.
Now what?

Refreshing the window in which Prolific.ac site is most recommended. Make sure you remain logged in the whole time you are online and be yourself when working on surveys.
Do not fill out surveys just because you want to get paid. Provide relevant information as required by the surveys or else your answers can be rejected hence you will not get paid.

Why Kenyans Should Focus Their Energy On Kenya, Not Africa as Whole..

Politics dividing Kenyans. Uhuru Kenyatta and Raila Odinga
Think of a situation where you are walking in the light but only to realize later that whatever you thought was light was just a mirage of the reality.

Kenyans are funny! Not that a Kenyan would make you laugh your face down, but because they do not really realize they are funny at all. They pity the other African countries for running the crooked system of governance, yet they are in it so deep that they have nowhere to run. Dead end!

Kenyans are great guys at looking and seeing beyond what other African nationals can see. Imagine pointing a finger in bad leadership in a country marked X while ignoring the fact that the citizens of that particular nation are very happy. It is like trying to poke a finger in the eye of a person in a video, just because you have a touch screen device--- It cannot work that way.

In Kenya, we have our own problems in the country, why go around causing trouble?

Let us have a look at these maybes.

·         Maybe, we lack unity among ourselves making it easier to invest our energies somewhere else.

·         Maybe, we have a problem with our ‘Know It All attitude.

·         Maybe, we fear internal attacks but since we can come together for African charity work, we find it fun.

·         Maybe we are losers pretending to be the eye and ear of Africa while sitting on our own time bomb.

·         Maybe, we have that desire to give assistance but we have not dealt with our mess first.

·         Maybe, we are cowards in matters affecting us, a reason we hunt for the rot elsewhere.

·         Or maybe, we feel so noble in standing for our African people… So sad that no one really cares.

Why we need ‘Us’ to work together for the common cause.

We have been fighting for change in wrong places for some time, and we have shown our courage and unity when we hardly needed any. Great! This is a first, and I think the best chance to build a firm unity that will be our strength in future.

If we put our energies together for one particular change, we have a good chance to emerge winners.

The fear of unity is our worst enemy. It gives our enemy a channel of exploitation. It drains our nobility and makes us all novices. Sad that the enemy wants us divided…

Think of a lion facing wildebeests… he may attack the whole lot, but only targets one that secludes itself from the crowd.

Now face our situation and see the reality. Does our politics benefit us in any way?

I guess minority would say, ’We got our man in the State House and that is all we need.’

That is bad mentality that was imprinted in the minds of cool Kenyans.

You know what? The will of many politicians is to make sure ethnicity is subscribed by the majority of people in Kenya.  In fact, this single issue has crippled our land and everything Kenyans should be proud of.

We walk tall empty handed, we work for long hours on our empty stomachs, we elect idiots who have nothing to offer other than peanuts during the campaign period and who cares about us? No one! Not even ‘your man in the State House.’

Why we can be what they fear the most

We have reasons to call ourselves by our noble name, Kenyans.

We have a reason to choose the best among the rotten system, beyond ethnic lines.

We have the will to change the face of Africa, but we should start at home first.

We have time to rectify our mistakes.

We have power in our numbers and we don’t need them to tell us what to do.

This is what change should be… not the way it is now!

How a Ugandan Trader Tried To Sell Me Uhuru’s UNGA at Ksh120, And Why the Deal Did Not Go Through.

Govt Of Kenya Branded maize flour
Sunday is the worst day to go around searching for Unga in Kenya, especially now that the most common foodstuff has been scaling greater heights in terms of pricing.

So, I was one of the people who queued for maize flour at a certain shop waiting for a turn to be served. The shop keeper was a mean looking fellow with a sneering kind of attitude towards people.

My first instinct told me to walk away but another idea popped up to stop me from leaving until I have gotten what I went there for.

Anyway, when it was my time to be served, I asked for Unga (2 kg) and gave the fellow a Ksh100 expecting my 10bob back. Instead, the guy laughed and dropped the money into my hand open hand. I was like ‘what is wrong with my money?’  The guy did not say anything. He pushed me aside and went on to another customer. That was when I realized that he was charging more than the stipulated price. The large packet of maize flour was no longer trading at Ksh90 but it was Ksh120. Well, I left without a word.

I went around from one shop to another looking for this food stuff but to no avail.
Okay, I gave up the chase and returned to my foe to try another time. This time I was armed with Ksh120, just as he wanted. Desperate measures!

Oops! He spoke to his assistants in a language that can only be linked to Ugandan nationals staying in Kenya. Maybe he thought I do not understand the language. Fortunately, the same language is slightly different from my mother tongue, and I do understand every bit of it.

When I gave him the money and asked for Unga, he sneered again and told me to buy any other item in the shop--- maize flour can not be sold as a solo item, it has to be accompanied by something else.

Well, I thought he was playing with my mind. But he made it clear when he told his guys to make me leave. Then he said these in his language, “These Luos are so stupid, I wonder who will teach them to understand the law of scarcity, price fluctuation, and demand.”

Then I answered him in my language, “Okay, so this is the reason you are exploiting these people. You wanna teach them the law of demand and supply? For your information, I am not a Luo and don’t hide behind your language to talk ill about your customers.

I looked around in his shop for a trading license but I could not see any. It was time to exploit his weakness. I asked for where he has hidden his license. Of course, he did not have a say other than to say he does not need one to run a business in the country. “Kenya is a free nation and don’t lecture me about documents that have no value in this country. Money talks and I am sure you as well know better that blah blah blah you are saying to me.”

“Oh, even a Mganda is daring me about the laws of our land…” He did not expect this. The surprise on his face was a sure way to show defeat.

Other people joined in. Some were murmuring incoherent stuff while other wanted to be heard.  The two shop assistants looked thunderstruck, waiting for their master for instructions. The man was tongue tight too. And only a flash of anger could be seen in his eyes.

With a good crowd blocking the doorways, the man had nothing to do other than to accept defeat.
He was like, “What do you want then?”

“I wanted a packet of unga but you said I should have asked for it only when I had bought something else. Unga itself has gone up by 30bob. What else to you expect from me?” I left the shop when everyone else was waiting for his answer.

Guess what, I went to another shop and bought it at Ksh90.

It so sad to see a trader taking advantage of Unga scarcity, exploiting common mwananchi because we do not ask questions--- we just don’t like to argue about our rights. Stand up! Fight for what you believe in. Don’t go down without a fight

Why UhuRuto May Lose State House Residency

president Uhuru and his Deputy W. Ruto (UhuRuto)

Today's match between Arsenal FC and ManU was so unpredictable. The special one was skillfully outwitted in the game by the most experienced manager in EPL, the elderly Arsene Wenger. The result was 'unbelievably' 2:0 to Arsenal. That was great, a game to watch in the field of play--- soccer match, but now we have two teams that are competing for the big seat in Kenya. The Uhuru Kenyatta team has nothing to offer other than matusis and empty promises that Kenyans already know the reality--- UhuRuto can't be trusted It is certain that the state house's meat was so sweet that the duo forgot that someday they will have to face Kenyans once more for reelection purposes. The two leader rides in pride and power like rich kids who happen to own the new ball in an area with kids from poor backgrounds. Of course, the rich kids would show off, choose who to let play on the team and those who would stand on the terraces to watch from afar. However, there are always some kids who do not take 'NO' for an answer and stay put. These kids usually go to play, just to make sure no one enjoys the game. And this has been RAO team. As things are by now, the team-kula nyama is dwindling between chances and sympathy. They made wrong decisions while they had a chance to make things cool. They went for big development projects and forgot that people (citizens) should come first in everything. Now that the cost of living has become unbearable to most Kenyans, the two have nothing to say other than to seek for cover is the political cocoon marred with ethnic divisions. No wonder Baba has a bigger say in almost everything that is happening in the country. Like a kid who had nothing to lose, he came, he played, he saw an opportunity and it is just a little more and he may score. Why, We watched the match between ARS and ManU. The special one was outplayed--- not because he had a weaker team, but because the Age in a manager played its cards well. Josse underestimated Wenger but forgot that in football, anything is possible. At the long run, well, you saw what happened. The same may happen to JP come August 8th, 2017...
