Raila Odinga in a political rally |
Kenya worries me, especially now that people are bound to elect some new or recycle leaders come August 8th.
We are hopeful that everything will go well. But we are also very careful not to repeat the 2007 chaotic era.
Youths are the most affected in this lot, especially pro- Hon. Raila Odinga diehards!
It is almost clear that they are expecting the 8/8 general elections to go astray. And ready to make Kenya a dirty country.
“I’m only waiting to hear that the presidential results are being rigged. Then I would go buy myself a few rolls of bhang… natural morale booster to cause chaos.” A youthful RAO fan said.
By his say, it is easy to confirm that we are sitting on a hot seat. These youths have nothing to lose since they value havoc and lawlessness more than general elections.
No wonder they like threats as if they own this country.
“If you know you don’t support Baba, pray that everything goes well or else we won’t spare you. We don’t want to mingle with traitors.” Normalized threats in the area that I happen to call home for now.
I wonder why it is so hard for these people to see that each and every Kenyan has a right to make a choice during the balloting period.
Choosing a leader is not something that you just wake up and say a certain aspirant is better than whoever being compared to.
No one can force you to choose a leader just because they think you are wrong and they are right.
It is so heart breaking to see youths unwilling to change for better Kenya. They do not have time to think! In most cases, they act blindly intending to harm the innocent, loot from business premises and benefit from their lawlessness.
This is just sad!
